:: [ S V V S Lunchtime Meeting - The Plough & Furrow, Smallfield - May 2011 ] :: It seems as if our Members are beginning to find the Plough & Furrow in Smallfield because the turnout was considerably up on last year. This time we had a quite a fair selection of 23 vehicles including the return to the road after a four year rest of the Chairman's Citroen 5CV, and the two year rest of Hon Auditors Humber Snipe. The blond in the white sports car turned out to be Mrs Chairman who zoomed in flamboyantly in the MG Miget. Hon Sec came in his Opel and Simon Bishop in the wind-up Singer. Lovely to see Keith Piper in one of his Aston Internationals. Clive Ellis came in his maharajah Rolls Royce and showed us the clever way the second screen and bulkhead can be hidden out of the way. The lovely Morgan of Messrs Conrad with Matchless engine sounded nice as did the Reid Douglas and the Chapman AJS motorcycles. Desmond Peacock left the pub less raucously than usual with petrol seeping out of a petrol pipe and hopefully was not incinerated on the way home. First time out appearance of the Triumph Herald of Messrs Ireland who had traded in the Dodge for it? One of the last appearances of the Wright Moggy Traveler. Locals Aldertons 'Y-ed' and Rices SpatFire as usual. The photos below were taken by Bozi Mohacek. Please click on any thumbnail picture below to see the full size picture.
