[ SVVS Summer Picnic, Horne - August 2006 ]

The Great SVVS Summer Picnic
was held again this year on a pleasant day at Church Farm beside the
rather lovely St Mary's Church in Horne. The photos by Tony Oakes, Michel

The SVVS Picnic coincided with the
Arts and Crafts Festival held at
the next-door Church of St
Mary's, Horne, held to raise funds to
return the Mohacek tarpaulin from the damaged porch roof there caused by
unsuccessful attempt at stealing the lead off the porch roof ! Repair
cost will be over £5,000 which has to be found by the parishioners,
Julie being one of the Church Wardens.
