:: [ SVVS Dinner - Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate - February 2011 ] ::

Reigate Manor Hotel was again the venue for the 2011 Annual SVVS Dinner and was attended by a smashing turnout of 110 people. We were lucky enough to obtain the services of David Richmond-Coggan as our Guest Speaker who gave a wonderful audio-visual presentation on the historical aspects of the RLNI. David is a Branch Secretary of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution who need some £130 million to run the Institution each year. All the proceeds of our Raffle, which amounted to to over £400, went went to the RNLI. It should be mentioned that first and second raffle prizes, which were cash, were subsequently also donated to the RNLI by the winners Julia Tester and Roger Bishop. Good on them and well done everybody!

This was the second Dinner presided over by the new Chairman Bozi Mohacek (aka Vintman), ably assisted by Julie Mohacek who organised the Raffle and presented the cups. Raffle ticket sales managed by Julie and carried out by Julie, Thelma Oakes, Janet Russell and Gosia Hone. Master of Ceremonies was Tony Russell.
