Our Membership Secretary Peter Clark is also the past Chairman of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Surrey Region, who meet at the Brooklands Motor Museum. Just like last year the JEC Regional Committee invited the SVVS to join them at their Thursday July meeting to display their cars along with JEC Jaguars. Due to another meeting at the Clubhous, this year we were not able to visit the museum and we parked in the adjacent Motor Village. After kicking a few tyres, both sets of Members retired to the splendid Brooklands clubhouse "Members Bar" and the balcony. SVVS cars noted were Peter Clarks XJS, John and Jenny Morgan's yellow Midget, Mike Gorman's Morris 10 4/4 Tourer, Fraser Clayton's GPO Green Van and Graham Childs MGB. Other members attending used moderns. Roger Bishop was spotted so may well have come with Graham.
